A short and picturesque drive from Miami across the Rickenbacker Causeway takes one to the Village of Key Biscayne.  Life on the key occurs at a slower pace, as seen by the cruising golf carts which serve as this community’s preferred form of transportation.  Working your way out from the playgounds and soccer fields at Village Green Park, the family-centric character of this quaint village becomes apparent.  A relaxed calm defines the various cafes and restaurants as patrons savor every moment of their time in this paradise.

To the north and south are Crandon Park and Bill Baggs State Park.  The latter is home to the key’s iconic Cape Florida Lighthouse, which has marked this southern point since it’s construction in 1825.  Also part of Bill Baggs is No Name Harbor, home to the Boaters Grill Restaurant, one of Miami’s favorite boat serviced restaurants.  Crandon Park offers a fully equipped marina, as well as Golf and Tennis facilities at Crandon Golf and Crandon Park Tennis Center, once host to the Miami Open.
