While steeped in history, Coral Gables has no shortage of modern boutiques and foodie-approved restaurants along its famous Miracle Mile shopping district. “North Gables” can be defined by its Mediterranean styled homes and commercial district which includes a selection of multistory condominium developments in communities with higher walkability scores. “South Gables” (south of US Route 1) is where one will find the more exclusive gated communities such as Gables By The Sea, Cocoplum, Gables Estates, and Deering Bay Country Club. Must visit destinations in Coral Gables include, the world famous 1920’s era Biltmore Hotel and Venetian Pool, as well as the Fairchild Tropical Gardens to the south.
